PURPOSE: A device and a method for washing velvet fabric by a device for washing velvet are provided to improve color fastness of the velvet fabric and to ensure soft texture. CONSTITUTION: A device for washing velvet fabric comprises: a washing bath(210) which contains washing solution(211) to remove remaining dye; and a washing brush(220) for causes friction with velvet fabric by contact with file. The washing brush comprises a rotation body which rotated by a driving unit, and brush member which removes remaining dye stained on the file. A method for washing the velvet fabric comprises: a step of passing the washing solution through the washing bath and washing; and a sep of brushing the velvet fabric. |
