PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable push-pull lock by which a sufficient stroke for unlocking is secured. SOLUTION: A latch lock allowing a latch 2 to retreat from an engaging hole 17 by pushing or pulling operation of operation levers 7, 8 includes: a latch unit housing the latch 2, which slidingly moves back and forth, in a manner that the latch 2 is urged in a projecting direction at all times, and having a long through hole 6 formed in a rear end of the latch; cam plates 4, 5 loosely fitted in the long through hole 6 to move the latch 2 in the retreating direction by pushing or pulling operation of the operation levers 7, 8; and a projection 13 arranged on the lever 8, which is to be pushed, so that an end of the cam plate 5 may be pushed toward the latch.
