The device for producing pellets, comprises a device for generating a quasi hollow ring-like orbital toroidal circulating bed on a core introduced in the device, a horizontal spraying annular nozzle (30) arranged in a middle of the circulating bed for spraying a fluid binder on the core, a tube directed from top above the head of the annular nozzle for supplying powdery particles (56), where the tube is connected with a conveyor device (61) that supplied the powdery particles to the tube, and a fluidizing device (71) to fluidize the powdery particles around the tube. The device for producing pellets, comprises a device for generating a quasi hollow ring-like orbital toroidal circulating bed on a core introduced in the device, a horizontal spraying annular nozzle (30) arranged in a middle of the circulating bed for spraying a fluid binder on the core, a tube directed from top above the head of the annular nozzle for supplying powdery particles (56), where the tube is connected with a conveyor device (61) that supplied the powdery particles to the tube, and a fluidizing device (71) to fluidize the powdery particles around the tube. The fluidizing device has a screw conveyor, through which the powdery particles are supplied through screw of the tube, and a source for gaseous medium, which is supplied from the source to the tube for fluidizing the powdered particles. The conveyor device is arranged at upstream to a first section of the fluidizing device from which the fluidizing medium is supplied to mouth of the screw conveyor, or the conveyor device is arranged at upstream to a second section of the fluidizing device, in which the powdery particles are fed to the circulating bed. A ventilator over which the head is releasable is arranged over the head of the annular nozzle. The ventilator has a cone cap to which the gaseous medium is supplied from the annular nozzle that is deflectable from the cone cap and is directed on the head of the annular nozzle. The ventilator has a ventilation cone arranged in mouth area of the tube, where the gaseous medium is supplied to the head of the annular nozzle through the ventilation cone. A compressed-air is directly supplied from the compressed air source to the ventilation cone. Pressure sensors are arranged in the fluidizing device and are connected with a pressure control or process air control of the device for producing the circulating bed. The conveying device and the fluidizing device are mountable as a separate building unit on the device for producing the circulating bed. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a device for producing pellets.
