The invention provides the use of compound of formula V or formula VI in the treatment of a demyelinating peripheral neuropathy: wherein X, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, n, R1a, R2a, R3a, R4a, R5a, R6a, R7a, Xa and na are defined herein; or the N-oxide derivatives thereof or prodrugs thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or hydrate thereof.
