PURPOSE: A bidirectional liquid pump is provided to ensure reduced installation space and manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A bidirectional liquid pump comprises a cylinder(10), a piston(20), field coils(31,32), a first suction valve(41), a first discharge valve(42), a second suction valve(51), and a second discharge valve(52). The piston reacts with a magnetic field inside the cylinder. The field coils generate a magnetic field inside the cylinder from the outside of the cylinder. The first suction valve and the first discharge valve are installed on an end of the cylinder while the second suction valve and the second discharge valve are installed on the other side. When electric currents are alternately supplied to the field coils, the piston is reciprocated to open and close the valves to transfer liquid on both sides of the cylinder at the same time.
