<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an inclination in a user's pupil distance direction without significantly increasing the power consumption of shutter glasses, and allow only users in a good viewing posture to view 3D images. <P>SOLUTION: Shutter control signals that are polarized to control right and left eye shutters are received through a polarizer at a switching timing of right and left eye images.
