METHOD FOR HANDOVER, TERMINAL, BASE STATION, AND RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To progress a handover procedure for each individual component carrier in radio communication accompanied by a carrier aggregation.

SOLUTION: This method is used for handover from a first base station to a second base station by a terminal performing radio communication on a communication channel formed by integrating a plurality of component carriers. The method includes steps of: transmitting, from the first base station to the terminal, an handover instruction for a component carrier approved in handover by the second base station out of the plurality of component carriers; and trying access for each component carrier as a response to the handover instruction from the terminal to the second base station.
