<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna apparatus which is capable of stable communication even when the size of the antenna apparatus is smaller than the size of the antenna of another party being communicated with, and even when two communicating antennas are disposed in close proximity to each other on the same axis. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna apparatus includes a conductor layer 2 having a conductor aperture CA and a slit portion SL linking between the conductor aperture CA and an outer edge. As a coil conductor 31 is plane-viewed, an aperture CW of the coil conductor 31 overlaps the aperture CA of the conductor layer 2. The area of the conductor layer 2 is larger than the area of a region in which the coil conductor 31 is formed.
