<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a production method using only sulfolane or sulfolane and another water-soluble polymerization solvent, temperature rising speed is not specifically disclosed in detail, and some cases are found in which it is not possible to stably achieve a desired polymerization degree depending on certain temperature conditions including temperature rising speed or the like and a certain reaction scale, and these reaction behaviors are practically serious problems when polyethers of the same quality are stably produced. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing polyethers, only sulfolane or a mixture of sulfolane and another water-soluble solvent is used as a polymerization solvent, and molar concentration of all monomers used is≥0.4 mol and the temperature rising speed of a reaction solution in the range from 180°C to a final retention temperature is controlled to 0.5-5.0°C/min. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
