PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens having an optical system composed of three lenses and capable of correcting aberration satisfactorily by setting a shape of the lens, a shape of aspheric surface or the like properly and achieving excellent optical performance irrespective of its characters being compact, thin, light in weight, and inexpensive. SOLUTION: The imaging lens is constituted by arranging three lenses, namely, the first lens having an aperture stop, forming projecting parts on both sides thereof, and having positive refractive power, the second lens forming a recessed meniscus shape on an object side and having negative refractive power, and the third lens forming a projecting meniscus shape on an object side and having positive refractive power, in this order from an object side.
