<p>The method involves determining situation of a motor vehicle (1) relative to a lane and limiting a transverse guidance interference in dependence of state variable (31) characterizing a driving condition of the motor vehicle. A transverse guidance engagement is limited in dependence of another state variable (39) characterizing the lane. An independent claim is also included for a driver assistance system for supporting transverse guidance of a motor vehicle by steering and brake.</p> |
