The arrangement has a hydraulic consumer (36) e.g. hydraulic motor (44) or hydraulic cylinder, and hydraulic lines (24, 26) connected with the hydraulic consumer. The hydraulic lines are utilized as a hydraulic fluid inlet and a hydraulic fluid outlet for the hydraulic consumer. A control valve (38) e.g. 3 by 3-way valve, supplies hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic lines to an inlet (46) of the hydraulic motor driving an electrical generator (52). An outlet (50) of the hydraulic motor is connected with a leakage liquid line (28).
