METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING SUBSCRIBER IN SUBSCRIBER NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for authenticating a subscriber in a subscriber network are provided to perform a subscriber authentication using a DHCP(dynamic host configuration protocol) option 82. CONSTITUTION: A client 1(300) transmits a DHCP broadcast message to a network terminator 2(310)(S30). A subscriber connection port number and IP address of a network terminal are inserted as a similar DHCP option 82(S31). The network terminal 1 transfers the DHCP broadcast message to a subscriber connection device while maintaining the inserted similar DHCP option 82 value(S33-S34). The subscriber connection device transmits the DHCP unicast message to the DHCP server(S35). The DHCP server requests the subscriber authentication to the certificate server(S36).
