PURPOSE: A smoke removal apparatus is provided to reuse the apparatus after a fire is distinguished, and to check the operation of the apparatus during a fire inspection. CONSTITUTION: A smoke removal apparatus comprises the following: a drum(150) rotatably installed on a housing located on a pathway; a smoke removal curtain(180) with one end fixed to the drum, and the other end winded on the outer surface of the drum; and a forward and reverse rotation motor(140) inserting and discharging the smoke removal curtain from the drum. The forward and reverse rotation motor includes a first speed reducer(141), and a second speed reducer(143).
