PURPOSE: A method for controlling the fail-safe of a hybrid vehicle is provided to prevent the generation of welds and damages in wiring harness by limiting a driving current supplied to an oil pump in case of the malfunction detection of transmission control parts. CONSTITUTION: The information of transmission control parts is monitored(S102). Whether the malfunction of the transmission control parts is detected is verified(S103). If the malfunction of the transmission control parts is verified, fail-safe is implemented to limit the driving current for an oil pump(S105). The information includes information with respect to a solenoid valve, an oil temperature sensor, and a transmission controller.
