<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrected image data generating method and display device, capable of displaying a pre-corrected image that can adjust the spectacles for presbyopia, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the corrected image data generation method, a pre-corrected image data with display information corrected by a correction function of an optical system is generated. The display device includes a processing section for generating a corrected image data by the prescribed corrected image data generation method, and a display section for displaying the generated corrected image data.
