<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing cartridge that is reduced in size and does not degrade usability. <P>SOLUTION: The developing cartridge, which is attachable to or detachable from an image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording medium, has: a developing blade 53 for regulating the layer thickness of a developer carried on the surface of a developing roller; a support member 62 for supporting the developing blade 53 on one end side in a shorter-side direction; a handle portion 54 used for gripping the developing cartridge and provided with a space on the end of the other end side of the support member 62 in the shorter-side direction; and a flexible sheet member 59 provided on the support member 62 and projecting toward the handle portion 54 from the end in order to cover the end when the handle portion 54 is gripped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
