PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, a method for producing an RFID (radio frequency identification) tag, and the RFID tag, allowing application to various kinds of usage environment/use conditions, by solving the problem of not being able to recognize electric waves, other than a designated polarized wave component. SOLUTION: The communication system 1 includes the RFID tag 2 including IC (integrated circuit) chips 22a, 22b each disposed according to each prescribed frequency band, wherein the IC chip 22a, 22b corresponding to the received frequency band responds to a first signal of the received frequency band and transmits a second signal and antenna parts 21a, 21b which are respectively connected to the IC chips 22a, 22b, and transmit/receive the first and second signals; and a reader/writer device 3 for transmitting the first signal to the RFID tag 2, and receiving the second signal from the IC chip responding to the frequency band of the first signal via a filter part 5 transmitting only the polarized wave component of the second signal.
