PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photosensitive member which suppresses image defects due to non-uniform charging, and has a conductive layer having a film having an excellent state and free from separation or crack. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photosensitive member is obtained by providing, on a conductive support, a conductive layer containing conductive particles having a volume-average particle diameter of≥0.1μm, an intermediate layer, and a photosensitive layer in this order, wherein the conductive layer contains a polyolefin resin containing a specific repeating structural unit at a specific ratio.
