PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper body of a vehicle disk brake, improving the balance of loads acting on vehicle body mounting bolts and surely mounting the caliper body to a vehicle body without increasing the fastening torque of the vehicle body mounting bolts. SOLUTION: A pair of acting parts 2a, 2a provided on both sides of a disk rotor 3 are connected by a bridge part 2b straddling the outer periphery of the disk rotor 3, and bolt insertion holes 2c for insertion of the vehicle body mounting bolts 5 are penetratingly formed in a disk radial direction at both side portions in a disk rotation direction of one 2a of the acting parts. The center points C1 in the axial direction of the bolt insertion holes 2c are arranged on a plane P1 including the cylinder central axis L1 of cylinder bores 6 adjoining the bolt insertion holes 2c and points C2 of cylinder bore peripheral walls closest to the bolt insertion holes 2c.
