PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low density slurry bridge mixture to be used for an expansion type constraining system. SOLUTION: The low density slurry bridge mixture 34 is constituted so that a zirconium metal, a thermally conductive enhancer such as aluminum metal for example, a potassium perchlorate oxidizing agent and a binder material are contained and the mixture has a drying density of about 45-65% of a theoretical density. The low density slurry bridge mixture 34 is used at a detonating device 10 including a non-grinding header 12 attached in a heave bridge wire 20, and in that case, the detonator is constituted so that the low density slurry bridge mixture 34 wraps a bridge wire 20 and may adhere to it.
