PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone fall prevention device for a cradle, for preventing a cellular phone set in a cradle from falling off from the cradle. SOLUTION: An in-vehicle cradle 15 is provided with a holding hole opening changing mechanism 22 to change the size of an opening holding hole 18, the mechanism 22 being interlocked with a belt ECU (Electronic Control Unit) 38 (precrash system) and an air back ECU 39 (air back system). When a shock is detected in the belt ECU 38 and the air back ECU 39, the size of the opening holding hole 18 of the cradle 15 is further reduced to reduce the diameter of the opening holding hole size. Thus, the cellular phone 3 set in the cradle 15 is held strongly to prevent the cellular phone 3 from falling down from the opening holding hole 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
