PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of smoothly and efficiently transferring a container to a chassis when juxtaposing a container storage shelf and a chassis storage shelf. SOLUTION: This container transfer facility 1 includes the container storage shelf 5 capable of taking out a container 19 stored in a shelf 3, the chassis storage shelf 9 capable of taking out a chassis 59 stored in a storage shelf 7, and a transfer device 11 for transferring the container 19 taken out of the container storage shelf 5 to the chassis 59 taken out of the chassis storage shelf 9.
