PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having an openable-closable stacking means capable of preventing a smear of an image by rubbing between a sheet material ejected in the first place and a sheet material ejected in the next place, without enlarging the device. SOLUTION: This image forming device has an ejecting means 4 for ejecting the sheet material S and a stacking means 6 for stacking the ejected sheet material. The stacking means has a paper ejecting tray 6a and right-left guide members 6b and 6c, and can rotate between a closing position stored in the device and an opening position capable of stacking the sheet material. A rotation angle of the paper ejecting tray when rotating between the closing position and the opening position, is set larger than a rotation angle of a guide member. In the opening position, a stacking surface formed of the paper ejecting tray and an upper surface of the right-left guide members, is formed in a recessed shape in the crossing direction with the ejecting direction.
