Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications, and mainly provide a short message forwarding method, the method including: receiving a short message (101); performing forwarding matching according to the attribute information of the short message, wherein the attribute information is the content and/or receiving-time of the short message (102); according to the forwarding matching result, forwarding the short message to the corresponding telephone number (103). With the technical solution that a telephone number corresponding to the short message is obtained by performing key word matching or time matching for the received short message and the short message is then forwarded to the telephone number, the embodiments of the present invention enable the user of the terminal to set independently on the terminal that a short message should be forwarded to which user, with no need for the user of the terminal to perform registration service on the network side, thereby reducing the communication cost of the user. |
