PURPOSE: A forward drive type exercise apparatus by step on motion is provided to enable the exercise of the entire body including a lower body, an upper body, and a waist. CONSTITUTION: A forward drive type exercise apparatus by step on motion comprises a front drive unit, a rear drive unit(20), and a transmitting unit(30). The front drive unit comprises a float wheel(11), a fork(12), and a handle(13). The front wheel is connected to the fork to be freely rotatable. The handle is connected to the upper end of the fork. The rear drive unit comprises a rear wheel(21), a pinion(22), a rack(24), and a foot-operating unit(25). The pinion is coupled with the rear wheel by a clutch unit. The rack engages with the pinion. The pedal part is hinge-coupled with the upper end of the rack. The transmitting unit comprises a first elastic frame(31) and a second elastic frame(32). The first elastic frame connects the fork of the front drive unit and the rear wheel of the rear drive unit. The second elastic frame connects the first elastic frame and the pedal part.
