PURPOSE: A dense metal film for separating hydrogen and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to eliminate pin holes generated in a metal separation film by including a porous metal layer. CONSTITUTION: A dense metal film for separating hydrogen(100) includes a metal separation film(120) and a porous metal layer(130). The metal separation film selectively transmits hydrogen. The porous metal layer is formed on the upper surface of the metal separation film. The metal dense film further includes a porous ceramic layer between the metal separation film and the porous metal layer. A porous support is additionally formed at the lower side of the metal separation film.
