<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which can form images shortened in drying and fixing time and which is prevented from sticking after dried. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a step of discharging an ink composition by an inkjet method onto a non-porous base to form the image thereon, wherein the ink composition contains a volatile organic solvent of which the solubility parameter is 20-25 MPa<SP>1/2</SP>, an acid-functionalized polymer colloidal particle of which the glass transition temperature is 25-85°C and a pigment at least part of the surface of which is coated with a polymer, and the absolute value of the difference between the solubility parameter of the non-porous base and that of the volatile organic solvent in the ink composition is 15 MPa<SP>1/2</SP>or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
