<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of controlling the use restriction state and the use permission state of electronic money to favorably prevent the excessive use of the electronic money. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal includes: a non-contact IC chip unit for holding history information as information for actualizing an electronic money function and related to a use amount of electronic money; a limit amount etc. storage unit for storing a beginning time of a monitoring period for monitoring the use amount of the electronic money and a limit amount usable within the monitoring period; a history information storage unit for acquiring history information within the monitoring period from the non-contact IC chip unit and accumulating the history information; and an electronic money function monitoring unit for calculating the total of the use amount of the electronic money based on the history information accumulated in the history information storage unit, prohibiting the use of the electronic money function when the total of the use amount exceeds a limit amount, and permitting the use of the electronic money function when a beginning time of a next monitoring period arrives. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
