PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which is easy to disassemble and assemble and prevents engagement from being simply released and dissolved by shocks when falling etc. SOLUTION: A cartridge case 21 of the ink cartridge 20 is constructed by detachably attaching lid plates 41 and 42 to both sides of a case body 40. An engaging mechanism of an attachment detachment type of the lid plate 41 to the case body 40 forcibly elastically deforms a first engagement plate 101(1) of the lid plate 41 to be engaged with a first engagement projection 103 of the case body 40, thereby releasing the engagement. The elastic deformation of the first engagement plate 101(1) is constrained by an engagement holding plate 104(1) of the other lid plate 42. Engagement of the engaging mechanism is prevented from being released to detach the lid plate 41 from the case body 40 so long as the lid plate 42 is not detached from the case body 40.
