PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell with improved output performance. SOLUTION: The fuel cell includes: a membrane electrode assembly 1; a fuel guide 30 with its fuel introduction surface, arranged facing an anode gas diffusion layer 9; a fuel supply part 2 with its fuel exhaust 22 which is arranged facing the fuel introduction surface, to supply fuel to the fuel guide 30 through the fuel exhaust 22; and an oxidant guide 40 with its opening for intake of the oxidant on its outer surface, arranged facing a cathode gas diffusion layer 12. A thickness of the membrane electrode assembly 1 (T<SB>M</SB>) is in a range of 700μm or more and 900μm or less, and a ratio (T<SB>C</SB>/T<SB>M</SB>) of a thickness from the outer surface to the fuel introduction surface (T<SB>C</SB>) to a thickness of the membrane electrode assembly 1 (T<SB>M</SB>) is in a range of 2.3 or more and 4.5 or less.
