PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle that is efficiently charged/discharged and completely consumes power in a capacitor, and a power supply control method for the same. SOLUTION: The power supply control method for an electric vehicle 10 is configured as follows. A switching voltage TH_Vm2 of a system lower-limit voltage or higher is set. When a system voltage Vm exceeds the switching voltage, a battery 20 and a capacitor 22 are arranged in parallel.
