A device for holding a roll of paper (6) is described, comprising a base plate (2), a fastening bar (1) that is mounted on the base plate (2), and a holding arm (3) that is mounted on the base plate (2). A roll of paper (6) can be slid onto the fastening bar (1) in such a way that paper can be unwound from the roll of paper (6). The holding arm (3) has a first final section (32) and a second final section (33). The holding arm (3) is pivotably mounted on the base plate (2) at a distance from the fastening bar (1) by means of the second final section (33). The device further comprises a holding adapter (4) which is recessed in the base plate (2) and within which the second final section (33) is retained. The holding adapter (4) has at least one elastic region (41) which is arranged between the holding arm (3) and the base plate (2) in such a way that the elastic region (41) applies a restoring force to the holding arm (3) which is effective in the direction of the fastening bar (1) when the holding arm (3) is pivoted away from the fastening bar (1). |
