PURPOSE: A method for charging and discharging a battery pack is provided to lower the current rating of a charging device. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(200) comprises a rechargeable battery, a discharging control switch, a charging control switch, and a protection circuit. The rechargeable battery comprises a first battery terminal and a second battery terminal. The discharging control switch is connected to the first battery terminal and the second battery terminal. The charging control switch is connected between the first battery terminal and the second battery terminal. The protection circuit controls the charging control switch and the discharging control switch. |
