PURPOSE: A method for measuring channel sate during the system information reception of an adjacent cell in a wireless communication system is provided to rapidly cancel the reception of system information if the reception is not available. CONSTITUTION: A UE(User Equipment) receives a system information reading command of an adjacent cell for a predetermined time. The terminal discontinues the communication with a serving cell. The terminal reads out the system information from the adjacent cell. The terminal transfers the system information to the serving cell after the predetermined time. The terminal receives a reference signal from the adjacent cell for the predetermined time. The terminal measures channel state value.
