PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion correction device and its method which can perform exact blur correction with high accuracy even for an image with motion including rotation and scaling elements. SOLUTION: The device includes a feature point extraction part 120 which extracts a feature point from continuous images in time, a moving amount detection part 130 which detects a moving amount of the feature point, and a blur correction part 170 which carries out the blur correction of the image based on the moving amount. The feature point extraction part 120 extracts the feature points in four corners of the image, the blur correction part 170 carries out projection transformation of the image using the moving amount of the feature point extracted by the feature point extraction part 120, and performs the blur correction.
