<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof cover pressing device which is put on the ridge part of a corrugated roof cover and enables a cover material improved in snow sliding property to be firmly put thereon, and also provide a roof structure in which the corrugated roof cover is pressed by the roof cover pressing device and the cover material is firmly joined. <P>SOLUTION: In this roof pressing device 1, a stopper insertion hole is formed at the center of the crest part of a pressing device body 1a convexed so as to straddle over the ridge part of the corrugated roof cover, and holding parts 1f, 1f for holding the folded side-edges of the cover material on one or both sides are provided to one or both side hem parts 1d, 1d of the pressing device body. In this roof structure, the roof cover pressing device 1 put on the ridge part of the corrugated roof cover is fixed to a roof cover support frame with fixing devices to press the corrugated roof cover, and the cover material is put on the roof cover pressing device 1 and the folded side edges thereof on one or both sides are firmly held on the holding parts 1f, 1f of the roof cover pressing device.
