<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a portable device carried into a vehicle from disturbing the operation of a driver without performing luminance adjustment by the user. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission means installed in the vehicle transmits a signal reachable to a predetermined range in the vehicle (step S1), the portable device which receives the signal transmitted from the vehicle transmits a receiving state signal which is a signal to reply the transmitted signal (steps S2, S3), a control unit in the vehicle discriminates that the portable device is carried in the vehicle if the vehicle can receive the receiving state signal (step S4), and the vehicle creates and transmits instruction information showing luminance of a display means in the portable device based on illuminance measured by an illuminance measuring means when discriminating that the portable device is carried in the vehicle (step S5), and the portable device controls luminance of the display means in the portable device based on the instruction information received from the vehicle (step S6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
