<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus capable of creating images more suited for diagnostic reading by removing stripe unevennesses from images of a subject taken, the stripe unevennesses being different in density amplitude but similar in shape. <P>SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus uses an X-ray detector for detecting X-rays transmitted through a subject to obtain the image data of an X-ray image of the subject taken, and includes a stripe unevenness template image creation unit for creating an unevenness template image in advance, a multiplication factor generation unit for determining a multiplication factor, and a corrected image creation unit for creating a corrected image by removing the components of a multiplied image from the X-ray image with the subject imaged, the multiplied image being obtained by multiplying the unevenness template image by the multiplication factor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
