PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle capable of excellently deploying a side airbag. SOLUTION: This seat includes a paddle 30 forming the framework of a side support of a seat back 14, a side airbag 24 provided in a folded state to overlap with the paddle 30 in a side surface view at a seat width direction end part and capable of deploying toward the front of the seat, and a side support adjusting mechanism 22 having a paddle driving mechanism 34 capable of displacing the paddle 30 in the seat width direction by receiving adjusting force and displacing the paddle 30 to the seat width direction inside by deployment pressure of the side airbag 20. Waist part outside stay cloth 60LO is provided along a side part 54S of side skin 54 with looseness 64LO in a seat longitudinal direction, has a front end side fixed to seat back skin 54, and a rear end side fixed to a first stay cloth bracket 62 fixed to a seat back frame 14A.
