PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc primer-coated corrosion resistant steel which has excellent corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The zinc primer-coated corrosion resistant steel having excellent corrosion resistance is obtained by forming a zinc primer coating film comprising Zn by 5 to 30 g/m<SP>2</SP>in coating weight and Mo by 0.01 to 10 g/m<SP>2</SP>in coating weight on the surface of a steel having a composition comprising, by mass, 0.01 to 0.25% C, 0.05 to 0.50% Si, 0.1 to 2.0% Mn,≤0.035% P,≤0.01% S,≤0.10% Al, 0.005 to 0.030% Ti and 0.0010 to 0.0070% N, further comprising one or two kinds selected from 0.01 to 0.5% W and 0.02 to 0.5% Mo, and further comprising one or two kinds selected from 0.001 to 0.2% Sn and 0.01 to 0.2% Sb, and in which, the mixing amounts of Cu, Ni, Cr and Co are respectively controlled to <0.20%, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
