PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device, an image forming device, and a sheet processing method capable of aligning rear ends of sheets with excellent accuracy. SOLUTION: The sheet processing device 100 executes the predetermined output working to conveyed sheets s, and includes a processing tray 4 for stacking the conveyed sheets s, an end aligning means 5a having a face on which an end of the sheet to be stacked on the processing tray 4 is abutted and a face 5b for pressing the end of the sheet, a rear end height detection means 11 for detecting the height of the sheet rear end, a driving means 7 for driving the end aligning means 5a, and a control means for controlling the driving means 7 based on detection information by the rear end height detection means 11. The control means controls the driving means 7 according to the height of the detected sheet rear end, and the end aligning means 5a is moved orthogonal to the sheet loading face of the processing tray 4, and the height between the sheet loading face and the face 5b to press the sheet end is variably controlled.
