PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a suspension member which is easily manufactured without causing deterioration in rigidity. SOLUTION: Front and rear end sides of a member body 1 in which a pressed upper plate 2 and lower plate 4 are overlapped are formed in a closed sectional shape in which front and rear ends of the upper plate 2 and lower plate 4 are overlapped and bonded. Right and left end sides of the member body 1 are formed in an open sectional shape in which right and left ends of the upper plate 2 and lower plate 4 are separated. Right and left ends of the lower plate 4 are formed in a substantially linear shape. A through-hole is longitudinally formed at the upper plate 2 and lower plate 4 that are at the front right and left sides. Pipe-shaped body mounting members 30, 32 are mounted by being inserted in the through-hole. A body mounting hole 38 (a body mounting hole at the right side is not shown in the figure) is formed on the upper plate 2 and lower plate 4 that are at the rear right and left sides.
