<p>This invention relates to a utility boom for carrying out operations at elevated positions, such as tree trimming. The boom is mounted on a body for location near an object to which an operation is to be carried out, such as near a tree. The boom comprises a first arm mounted to the body and a second arm mounted to the first arm. The inclination and rotation of the first arm relative to the body is adjustable and the inclination and rotation of the second arm relative to the first arm also is adjustable. Accordingly, the position of a remote end of the boom is controllable by adjusting the inclination and rotation of the first arm and the second arm.</p> |
