METHOD FOR ESTIMATING THE LEVEL OF REHABILITATION POTENTIAL OF PERSONS ADDICTED TO PSYCHO-ACTIVE SUBSTANCES

The invention pertains to the fields of medicine and education, and particularly relates to psychological diagnosis in narcology practice. The method for determining the level of rehabilitation potential of persons addicted to psycho-active substances comprises determining a group of factors contributing to the construction of the rehabilitation potential and remission by carrying out tests using a standard questionnaire. The method comprises determining biological and social factors, particularities in the use of psycho-active substances, as well as factors of a psychological group specific to the youth between 19 and 32 years of age. The test indices in points are converted according to standard scales into "standard tens" or Stens, and the results are estimated according to a ten-division scale. A low level of rehabilitation potential is diagnosed when the index value ranges from 1 to 3 Stens, while an average level is diagnosed from 4 to 7 Stens and a high level of rehabilitation potential is diagnosed from 8 to 10 Stens. The method ensures the occurrence and systemization of all the factors leading to the construction of the rehabilitation potential of adolescents, which makes it possible to substantially increase the objectivity and reliability of the study, to designate more precisely the targets of psychotherapeutic, socio-psychological and rehabilitation actions, to enhance the efficiency of the treatment-rehabilitation measures, to follow-up the results and efficiency of various interventions in the dynamic process and to obtain a precise prognosis of the immediate and future results.
