PURPOSE: A diode with nitrogen-doped carbon nano tubes is provided to make the structure of a carbon nano tube facing a diode in a pentagon carbon ring, thereby enhancing the current-voltage features of the diode. CONSTITUTION: A diode comprises first and second carbon nano tubes. One-ends of the first and second carbon nano tubes are caped. At least one nitrogen element is doped in the caped part. A carbon nano tube is a metallic carbon nano tube. The carbon nano tube has an arm chair structure or a zigzag type.
