PURPOSE: A water dispenser and a control method thereof and a refrigerator with a water dispenser are provided to prevent the discharge of hot water if the difference between the temperature of hot water and a predetermined temperature is big. CONSTITUTION: A water dispenser(150) comprises a body(151), a water supply unit, and a temperature setting unit(210). The body comprises a water supply space. The water supply unit supplies water to the water supply space. The temperature setting unit sets the temperature of the water. The temperature setting unit comprises a signal input unit(215) and a temperature display unit(225). The signal input unit inputs a signal for controlling the temperature of the water. The temperature display unit indicates the temperature of the water.
