PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for increasing the secrecy of photographed image data, and for suppressing manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The electronic equipment is provided with: a sharpening processing part 71 for sharpening an image, and for emphasizing the neighborhood of a contour section; a similarity derivation part 72 for deriving similarity by collating the sharpened registration image with a collation image; and a collation result determination part 73 for determining whether or not the features of the registration image are matched with the features of the collation image on the basis of the derived similarity. When it is determined that the features of the registration image are matched with the features of the collation image, an operation to the image recorded in a directory corresponding to the registration image is made attainable.
