PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit capable of withstanding rain and water and having durability (long service life) in an air conditioner for air conditioning inside of a temporary facility such as an event facility and a temporary house. SOLUTION: The air conditioner for air conditioning inside of the temporary facility such as an event facility and a temporary house includes an outdoor unit installed outside the house, the indoor unit installed inside the house, and refrigerating piping interconnecting both of the units. The indoor unit includes: a fan motor in which a rubber seal reinforced by a cored bar is suitable for an axial end face of a ball bearing to form a waterproof structure; an indoor air blowing fan driven by the fan motor; and an indoor heat exchanger exchanging heat between air sucked in the indoor unit with a refrigerant within the refrigerant piping.
