PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system improving thermal environment of a perimeter zone while suppressing energy consumption. SOLUTION: The air conditioning system 1 includes a ceiling temperature changing device 11 for changing a temperature of a ceiling Cp of the perimeter zone Zp different from the temperature of the air of the surroundings, and a shielding member 21 openably and closably disposed with a clearance S from window glass WG to cover the window glass WG and shielding solar radiation. The shielding member 21 is attached so that an opening having a prescribed distance Lh in a height direction is formed. During cooling, warmed and raised air between the window glass WG and the shielding member 21 is cooled by the ceiling Cp, circulating air flow naturally circulating in the vertical direction around the shielding member 21 is formed, and temperature rise of the shielding member 21 is suppressed, and cooling efficiency is improved. During heating, descending air flow generated on the window glass WG cooled by the outside air is warmed by the ceiling Cp, and then, the descending air flow is formed, and therefore, temperature lowering of the descending air flow is suppressed, and a cold draft can be reduced.
